First love

Do not fret. The love you feel now will not perish all of a sudden. It will not vanish in a puff of smoke. Neither will it degrade like flesh in a valley of bacteria. A love like that, built from sheer innocuous apprehension and teenage naivety, comprises only honesty and soft strokes on the cheek. A love like it resides in the deepest, most lonely crannies of our heart.

The love you feel now will pulse in your heart and linger in your thoughts for years to come. But there will reach a point when the love you feel cannot overcome the persistence of time. However tight you cling on to this feeling of hope of feeling more, or at least not feeling any less, it will only give way and you find yourself at the end of the road. Time will signal the end of something good, something full.
